Goddess Parvati Mata name is a Sanskrit word which means "mountain". She was the daughter of Himavan, lord of the mountains and the apsara Maina. Parvati Mata is the second wife of Lord Shiva. Goddess Parvati Maa is believed to be the power and might and she is adored as goddess of might throughout the country. The desire fulfiller of Shakti sect is Durga. Parvati Mata is the wife of Lord Shiva and the Divine Mother of Lord Ganesha and Lord Kartike.
